There had been earlier reports that John was pining away for jennifer and wondered if he could get her to fall in love with him one more time. While Jon thought he might be the one that had make the play for Jen she made the first move, according to the report.

A source close to John said: “Jen sent John a hand-delivered, perfumed note before one of his concerts this week.” The source added: “It read: ‘Play well, you always do.’ It was sweet - she clearly doesn’t want to let go completely.” It is claimed this is the first time Jennifer has contacted John since they split, although pals claim she has been speaking to his brother.

The pal said: “John hasn’t shown any interest in other women since the split, which is a break from his usual pattern.” The pal added: “Who knows, this may not be the end of their romance. Neither seems very good at letting go!

He may have once told EW that "nobody wants to see me make out on screen with Jennifer Aniston," but Jeff Garlin is doing the next best thing: costarring in her next film. The Curb Your Enthusiasm star just signed on to play a gruff bail bondsman helping to track down Aniston’s character in the upcoming comedy Bounty Hunter , now shooting in New York City.

Garlin tells EW that he jumped at the role mainly because of the guy playing his fellow bounty-hunter best friend (and Aniston’s ex): "It’s with Gerard Butler — need I say more? He’s the coolest, he’s the best. And they paid me what I wanted."

Garlin is cramming the project into an already-busy season. His comedy special, Young and Handsome , debuts on DVD July 7 and airs on Comedy Central in the fall, while Curb Your Enthusiasm returns to HBO for another guest-star-tastic season this fall.

New details have surfaced about Jennifer Aniston’s date with her new Brad — The Hangover stud Bradley Cooper.

The couple enjoyed pasta, steak and salad during a romantic dinner at Italian restaurant Il Cantinori in Manhattan on Thursday. Brad, 34, and Jen, 40, even sipped Pellegrino water instead of alcohol.

“It was a date,” a source tells People. “She is taking it slow. She is obviously looking for love, but is not about to rush into anything.”

“They were very nice and chatty,” the manager of the restaurant told E!.

While she tried her best to keep covered up on the set of “Bounty Hunter,” Jennifer Aniston fell victim to swarming paparazzi in Atlantic City on Monday afternoon (June 22).

As the shutterbugs snapped up shots of the actress displaying her undies, Jen quickly pulled her little dress down while grabbing a curbside seat next to one of her co-stars.

While the movie has been shooting for a little while now, this happens to be Miss Aniston’s first appearance on the set.

Talking about the new film, an insider tells Life & Style: “Jen and Gerard (Butler) play a divorced couple named Cass and Milo. They’re together in almost every scene, bantering and belittling each other as the elaborate action caper unfolds.”
